KITCHENER -- Waterloo Regional Police are asking the public for help in finding a man who is reported to have grabbed a boy as he was riding his bike in the Forest Hill area of Kitchener Wednesday night.
At about 6:30 p.m., two young boys were riding along Ruskview Road between Fischer Hallman Road and Westmount Road East when they were approached by an unknown man in a mini van.
The man tried to grab hold of one of the boys, said Sgt. Shaena Morris.
The boy screamed and the man took off in the van.
The man is described as white, between 40 to 50 years old, weighing 200 pounds, five-feet, 11 -inches tall and was clean shaven. He had short, grey hair.
The van is believed to be a silver Ford Windstar. It had three large scratches on the passenger side window.
